The inaugural “9 Barrels” Syrah from Rollingdale. These beautiful, thick skinned grapes were hand harvested in the warm and long summer of 2019. Syrah tends to learn towards hot and dry conditions which the Okanagan Valley is known for. Bold and meaty notes coexist with a great fruit background of red currant and ripe raspberries. Usage of new American Oak and second fill French Oak gives this wine the best of both worlds. Coconut and vanilla notes from the oak vessels allow this Syrah to be paired well with anything that’s been thrown on the BBQ, and has the potential to last for years to come.
