The 2009 crush began on September 29th with estate harvested Marechal Foch. Today Chardonnay was crushed and pressed and Merlot was crushed from Stoney Slopes Vineyard, OK Falls. The brix are up, the fruit is clean and healthy - 2009 is promising to be an outstanding vintage. The harvest excitement will continue to be updated via blog so stay tuned! Introducing Rollingdale’s newest pet. He isn’t very cuddly and he has to maintain a strict diet of helium but we’re very fond of him. His name is Vigilante and he spends his days hovering over our vineyard scaring the not-so-smart and somewhat visually impaired starlings away. Silly looking balloon or terrifying predator? It’s all in the eyes of the beholder.
